Table Installs

 Being in the business for over 20 years, we have seen so many different kinds of tables. Some are easy to assemble, and some can be very difficult. We at The Assembly Tech know that it takes a special technique to install a pool table correctly with minimal use of shims. Another very important step to installing a pool table is to make sure the cloth has a nice clean tight stretch for the fastest and most accurate play. This is a very critical step in making sure you get the best install on your pool table to have the best play on it. Installation time varies depending on what kind of table you have. Please allow 2-4 hours for installation on your pool table, depending on the brand, size and style of table.

 Moving/Relocating

We strive to take excellent care of your table, from disassemble to relocation.  We will also take extra precautions when moving your table in and out of your home to make sure we do not damage your home or your table.  Perfection takes time so be prepared to spend 3-5 hours for this process.  When we move the table it will take about a 1/2 hr to get the table out of the first location and loaded into the truck.  Once we get to the new location it could take anywhere from 2 to 2 ½ hours to complete the job.  Also, keep in mind drive time between locations when calculating the time frame for the move.

 Another thing to consider is recovering your pool table at the time of the move.  It will be less expensive to do so at this time as the table is already apart and easily accessible.  Ask us about this at the time of scheduling your move.

 Re-Cushions

 Not all 100% pure rubber cushions are created equal.  Cheap fillers have been used in billiard cushions for years.  We use premium quality rubber that is processed with proprietary chemicals and pigments to increase accuracy and produce consistent play.

 You can usually tell if the rubber is bad by squeezing the rubber.   If it feels hard then the rubber is bad, if it still feels flexible then the rubber is fine.

 Recovers

 At the time of moving a table is the best time to recover.  The table is already apart and more easily accessible.  A table should only be moved maybe once or twice before it needs a new cloth.  The reason being is that the cloth loses it’s stretch and remains “loose.”  Make sure to take extra precaution and cover your table when not in use.  Also, make sure your table is not in direct sunlight, as it will fade.  Don’t be afraid to ask our technicians about any precautions.   view cloth colors
